The National Diploma in Business is a 42 week full time course of study. The National Diploma in Business is a nationally recognized qualification approved by NZQA. The course has been carefully structured to meet the needs of students wishing to study business and provide a pathway to further studies in business. English language support for students is available as part of the course structure and students will be encouraged to sit IELTS before they complete the Diploma.
The Course is arranged into six blocks of seven weeks duration. Students are required to achieve 120 credits to gain the qualification. The eleven modules that make up the blocks are listed in the table below.
To complete the Diploma the student will need to complete all compulsory Modules of study. Two 21 week semesters are held with a two week holiday between each semester. The Course is designed to allow students to complete the Diploma over a two semester (1 college year) period.
